Default Chicken pox

R woke up with a rash this morning, but other than that she was fine, eating playing no temperature etc. My first though was chicken pox. Took her to the Dr to confirm.

So our Christmas plans are slightly changed. We will stay away from Church but my sister is still happy for us to go for breakfast there as we have been around her kids R in the last few day. We will also go to my in-laws.

This of course depends on her not being really sick tomorrow then we will probably just stay home but the Dr said she shouldn't be too sick with it. We have the various products to easy the itching.

I remember getting oatmeal baths when I had the chicken pox, they were fun!

Hope she feels better, poor thing

oh no, that totally sucks. I know a couple of kids who have been real sick with chicken pox but most of them are fine. I think it's best to get it when you're little. I'll be praying that you guys don't have it too rough, get plenty of sleep and still have a wonderful Christmas.

We are now confused because we don't think it is chicken pox as the spots haven't blister and it is more splotchy than spotty and seems to diminsh over the day but then get worse at night again. We suspect some form of allergic reaction to something.

She doesn't seem to be sick other than this rash which she isn't even itiching.

If it hasn't improved by wednesday when the Dr's reopen I take her back to the Doc's.

No that doesn't sound like chicken pox. So pleased she's not sick with it.

Default It is probably hives.

The rash appears to be getting better but it is not clear so I took her back to the Dr's this morning. It was confirmed to be hives, cause unknown. Could be a reaction to something in the air (it was really windy the week or so), to a food or she has some virus or other.

The Dr has gave us a prescription for an antihestime and said that if it wasn't improving by friday to go back and see her.

I waited until today as the Dr's were reopen today after the Christmas break.
