Not vegan, but I am a functioning vegetarian. This is actually not a matter of principle for me, but stems from the fact that I can't stand meat!

I do wear leather in shoes, belts, and the like. I also eat dairy products -eggs, butter, cheese etc.

I'm not vegan in diet (strict vegetarian on principal)

But I'm vegan in lifestyle. I might one day he a real vegan, but I'm taking it in stages. I'm 5 months into vegetarianism, I need to go gluten free ASAP, and the learning curve of being vegan is to daunting with all my little kids. I'm also soy free so that complicates things.

I'm theologically in line with a vegan lifestyle though-and it's the goal.

Good for you!
I've got the same problem- I'm allergic to soy and also nuts, but happily gluten won't hurt me... I think that you can find ebooks or blogs about celiac disease with a lot of interesting recipes. You can use rice or almond floor for example and of course everything from corn am I right?

Corn has so much GMO in it. But yes-I can do almond and rice flour in lots of things.

I also don't cook much-but I am learning. Pinterest had vegan and Vegitarian freezer meals that make my life much easier.
