Default Nail it to the Cross

At the end of our service this morning, following communion, our Minister handed each of us a piece of paper, and asked us to write on it 2 things:

1) Whatever is troubling us at the present time.
2) Whatever words of comfort we find in the Scriptures.

We were then invited to come to the front of the church, and each nail our piece of paper to a wooden cross which he had made. The result was very uplifting, and a visible reminder to all of us that the cross of Christ is there to deal with our sorrows, our problems, our joy and our hope.

Default

Sorry the photo was lying on its side in my post above. It was the right way up on my computer, but for some reason which is beyond me, it would only translate on to its side when attached to my post. Sorry folks!
