Egg dishes are quite popular round here, and usually quite simple, e.g.
Scrambled eggs on toast
Salads with hard boiled eggs and new potatoes
Welsh rarebit - that's basically melted cheese on toast, with a poached egg on top.
By now, you will probably have worked out that I'm a vegetarian - don't know anything about meat!
Actually both of my children had cooking lessons when they were at school (its called "Home Economics"). This was not done in my day, back in the dark ages of the 1950's. Consequently, both may children (now adults) are far better cooks than I will ever be.
