I have a 20 month old toddler. She is more then I bargained for! All in a good challenging keep mom on her toes sorta way.

She is our third child.

She has some delays and also has a list of food allergies and intolerances. She is an awesome kid though! One day I get to share all the stories of the times oh when you were little this and that.

This last month with her has been really touch and go. We had one really horrible experience, 1 surgery and a 5 day hospitalization. We hardly lived at home last month, we were either in hotels, clinic waiting rooms or hospital cribs. She is really on the mend now.

I have children with food allergies and intolerances as well. I know what you struggle with. I am thankful that she is doing well now and will continue to pray for you and her as you continue on her health journey.

Thanks for all the prayers for her. She needs them. Things seem to be looking up for her. At least this week. Some moments I never know where we will end up with her.

Wow! God must have incredible faith in you to put such a challenge in your life. Be encouraged! I cannot imagine what it must be like and have such respect for parents of children with special needs. Will be praying.

I always question what God finds so special about me and my DH, but you know we have taken this challenge and fought head on. There have been times where I wanted to pack up and go back home. But I never stopped fighting. My dd deserves better and God trusts me with her, I have to be faithful to Him.
I have a much deeper respect for special needs parents then before. When you walk a mile in shoes you never thought you would be in, life comes into a whole new understanding.

I want to use this whole big seemingly "negative" thing in my life and put a huge positive spin on it. I have a couple things I am working on, but I have yet to get clear direction on where He wants to to go with this. I know God did not give me my special little one to sit in the corner quietly, He knows me better then that!
