As some of you know, my mom went to Colorado to stay with my sister after having a stroke last summer. She has been rehabbing there. during OT/PT sessions, her heart rate has been unsteady, dropping to the 40s.
So the cardiologist decided to put a pace maker in. this took place this morning!

I was unaware this was all happening, as my sister Rose in CO did not call me.
Rose told my other 2 sisters, but not me. One of my other two sisters was supposed to have called me.

anyway, i have been praying since. Rose just called me and my mom is doing fine. the pace maker is in and working ok. After a day or two, she will be out of the hospital again. i wanted to talk with my mom, but Rose was on a cell phone, so she could not bring it into the room--because of the pace maker of course. Well, Rose was supposed to give me the phone number to my mom's room so i could talk to her.

sorry this is long. i am irritated. instead of calling me from the hospital room and letting me talk with my mom, Rose opted not to. She told me my mom was being noncompliant with lifting her arm--she's not supposed to for a period of time after the surgery. so Rose told the nurse to give my mom a pain med and let her go to sleep! :huh: so i didn't get to talk with my mom.

I am just so frustrated with my sisters. They have always kept me in the dark...all my life. I just wish they would let me in on it when it has to do with my mom!

Please just pray for my mom's healing and recovery so she can come back home to NY, and for my peace of mind towards my sisters.

Father I lift Mare's mom up to you and I ask for a quick and complete healing for her. I pray that she is able to return back to New York as well. I pray for Mare to have peace in knowing that you are there with her mom right now. I ask Lord that you convict her sisters for not letting her know about her mom, and that she is able to talk to her mom tomorrow. Lord you are not the author of tension and I ask that you break that tension in Mare's family right now. Open eyes and hearts Lord so that healing in all areas may take place and relationships be renewed. Thank you Lord and I ask these things in Jesus name...AMEN

i don't think my sisters give a _______. they really annoy me.

another part to the story...my mom is back in the hospital with pneumonia.
she was re-admitted on saturday and on IV antibiotics.

my sister in colorado (R) just called and ranted loudly in my ear about my sister here in NY (Y) who is controlling my mom's bank account!! UGH!

My mom's bank account has been overdrawn for the past 3 months! sister Y is supposed to be in charge of this. so sister R called sister Y to discuss it.
